What does the resurrection of Christ mean to me? Paul said it best in 1 Corinthians 15 when he declared, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” Certainly the Person and power of Christ is enough to change anyone’s life! Yet if it only lasts for a “lifetime,” and nothing else was offered after death, what then?
Praise God we don’t have to answer that question because Christ arose! He lives today and is seated at the right hand of the Heavenly Father. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Friend, Christ has conquered death, hell, and the grave– the greatest enemies of man. You need not live in darkness and doubt but instead be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. On this glorious day, take hold of the victory Christ has granted to us when He rose from the grave!
