OUR CHURCH’S LABOR DAY PICNIC…

We are Baptists! We are Bible-believing Baptists! We practice Biblical Baptist Christianity when the Bible says, “And they continued streadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread…” My interpretation of that verse- Christian, let’s eat together! So each year, on Labor Day, our church gets together for an “old-fashioned, Arizona-appropriate” picnic. Old fashioned because it involves grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. Arizona-appropriate because we ain’t no fools to fellowship out in 110 degree heat! So we rent a clubhouse that holds over 200 people, plan games for kids, and enjoy each other’s company in an air conditioned building. This is the second time Amy’s Mom was able to join us for this picnic. Isaac was there, too!

Check out some of the action…

“Two! Two! Three! Three! Four! Four,” is all you can hear during this game of Pit.

“Finders’ eaters! I found Mrs. Suzanne Flores’ Pringles potato chips.”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how great this tastes!”

“Mama, look at what I found!”

“What an arm! I could be a Major League picther.”
